Socratic Design is a philosophical method that can be used to transform education. It is crucial that we address the underlying assumptions of our educational systems and design new ones, that fit in the actual society.

Instead of improving old systems, we believe that it is better to construct a new model. This new model must be based on our newest insights about the essence of our well being and the role of learning in this.

High schools can analyze their actual strengths and build further innovations on these good practices. Progressive institutes like art academies or top business schools can totally reconstruct their philosophy and their concrete organization.

Our society is confronted with exponential technological growth, all our certain models and methods cannot cope with these developments: In these labs, we incorporate all possible philosophical assumptions old and new ones, to create new narratives for the future. We design new morals, rituals, and models for the good life. The challenges that the tech confronts us with will be dealt with by creative and strongly human scenarios. This lab is the most exponential learning experience according to the philosophy of John Dewey.

Dialogue

Socratic Dialogue training is one of the most effective ways of innovating the classical educational institute. The teachers and students will acquire the moderation skills to apply in their daily activity. Teachers can step out of their central role of knowledge source and create collective intelligence in the schools.
